Wrapup – The Gunfighters
Hello everyone, the Historian here, once again attempting to fill in the gaps left by the posting pause. As before, regardless of the date of this post, this is being written in January of 2014. Last time, things got a little involved, so I’m going to try to streamline this (and future) story wrapups. Let me know what you think.

2 – Don’t Shoot the Pianist
The Gunfighters episode 2 discussion:
Our review of this of episode is broken up in two parts: Photobug and Altair couldn’t make it for the original viewing. So later Ronelyn and I watched it again with Photobug and Altair, and thus the odd discussion. – Ketina

1 – A Holiday for the Doctor
Ketina here! New site, new format. Alas, no more summaries (at least not yet, we might add them later) and no more story wrap-ups (at least not yet). And, in order to get the stories to line up, and any current event references to make sense, all posts from here out are dated by the date we viewed the stories, not by the date of the site post. This also meant that I modified the dates from “The Massacre – Wrap-up” through part 4 of the “Celestial Toymaker” to get everything to line up correctly.
Anyway, there’s my boring explanation.
The Gunfighters. The first (and likely only) Doctor Who story that could be described as a musical. And since this one exists on DVD, we’re unlikely to add a summary later.
This week’s discussion we had The Historian, Ketina, Mr Mother, Ronelyn, Photobug, Altair, Spoo, Schmallturm, Mini-Spoo, and Cz.

Wrapup — The Celestial Toymaker
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POST, WHILE WRITTEN IN 2014, IS BACKDATED TO FIT INTO THE CORRECT ORIGINAL POSTING SCHEDULE.
Hello everyone, the Historian here. At this point I am one full story behind where the Project actually is, but I hope to catch up soon! For now, let’s talk about one of Doctor Who’s early experiments.
I have to admit, I was surprised by how much disagreement and disapproval this story provoked among Project members.***
And that’s where I left things back in 2011, when the first iteration of this blog kind of ground to a halt. Ketina has gone over the whys and wherefores elsewhere, but briefly, writing the summaries and the pressure I was putting on myself got the better of me. I kept falling further behind, and the further behind I got, the harder it became to get myself going again…and two years got away from me. As I type this, we are about to finish the fifth season (one to go!), and the old blogspot website has lain fallow. Then, last year, Ketina decided to take matters into her own hands and here we are! She is posting our discussions and I plan/hope to add wrapup posts for stories and (I hope!) seasons. Eventually, if I get very industrious, I may even add some summaries!

We’ve moved!
Welcome to the new permanent home of the TARDIS Project. We’ve move from Blogspot to Tardisproject.net, and hope to stay for a long time.
Old readers may have noted that our last post of Blogspot was in August of 2011. I’m back dating this post to fall just after that one, although I’m actually posting this News Post on January 3rd, 2014. While we stopped posting on Blogspot, we never stopped the project, and have continued to watch one classic episode each week on (most) Friday nights.
The new posts lack episode summaries, which is one of the reasons why the previous site died out. It was getting too challenging to keep those up. But we’ve continued with our lively discussions of the episodes each week, and hope to entertain with witty (and no-so-witty) repartee. The summaries may get added at a later time. We’re also lacking story and season wrap-ups, but it wouldn’t be the first time our format has changed over the years. At this point we’ve just wrapped up our holiday break and will be starting on the last story of season 5 tonight. That’s well over two seasons since our last post, the last story of the Celestial Toymaker. I hope you enjoy catching up with us!
